The 10th joint regional policy steering committee for LVBC projects and programs will be taking place from 30th January – 3rd February 2023 in Sarova Imperial Hotel, Kisumu Kenya.
The committee meeting will be considering the status of implementation of decisions and directives of previous RPSC meeting held from 10th to 14th February, 2020 and progress made in project implementation from January to December 2022.
The Joint RPSC meeting will be preceded by the session of senior officials who will consider progress reports in implementation of projects and programs and subsequently prepare their report to be considered in the session of the Permanent and Principal secretaries slated for 2nd & 3rd February 2023.
The final report of the 10th JRPSC will then be presented to the 22nd meeting of the Sectoral Council Of ministers for Lake Victoria Basin (LVB-SECOM) for adoption and further directives.
The meeting will be attended by Senior Officials and Permanent / Principal Secretaries from the five EAC
Partner States of Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. It will also be attended by the National Project Coordinators.
